The next update for the Xbox One is going to bring some more gems from the Xbox 360. Games like Call of Duty: Black Ops, BioShock, Halo Wars, Skate 3, etc will be making their way onto the Xbox One console via backward compatibility.

Backward Compatible

The official Xbox twitter account recently tweeted that the CoD Black Ops will be supported in the future update. We are waiting for the next update because all of these games are really amazing.

Backward Compatible Games

There are some of the best Xbox 360 games available in the backward compatible list right now and Microsoft is trying really hard to expand this list by adding new titles every month. We are still waiting on games like Red Dead Redemption, Black Ops II, etc. These games have the highest votes on the Xbox UserVoice forum but there have been no official words regarding when any of these game will be added to the backward compatibility list.

Is this really news when it was already announced around 2 months ago?…..

For some people, it is still news. 🙂

    skate 3 is nice!!

    • Dilawer

You said it but Skate 2 was even nicer.

I really want Skate 3 on there. :c Seriously, an outdated COD title, I really wish fellow Xbox gamers would stop obsessing over such an outdated franchise. Besides, you play one, you’ve played them all.

    • Dilawer

Skate 3 is already there, buddy. You don’t have to worry. Skate 3 is also coming along with CoD and other titles.

In my opinion, the new cod games suck, and it started with ghosts.

The best thing they can hope for is backwards compatibility on thier older titles, the titles that are still being played and the ones that made cod gold. I think mw2 and the first 2 BO titles were my favorites. WAW would be great too, if they arent going to remaster it then why not add it to the BC list as well.

The popularity of cod has made the developers lazy and willing to use cut and past tactics accompanied by ridiculous additional player abilities, rather then sticking to what works. That crap needs to stop, it stopped being cool after crysis3. I am referring to jet packing etc.

True. I personally think that CoD 4 (Modern Warfare 1) was one of the best games in the series. MW2 continued the legacy set by its predecessor, However, as you stated, the developers got pretty lazy once they realize people are gonna buy the game anyways. Same goes with EA’s Fifa, they know it will sell so their is really little improvements with each new game.
